We have launched an exciting new campaign in conjunction with our partners from Blossom Care Solutions and Access to Market consulting firm Decusatio to fund young women with access sanitary products from as little as R240 per year. Carlo Moh is the latest young South African woman to throw her voice behind this campaign.
Blossom Care Solutions is an innovative social impact model which sees previously unemployed young women being placed in micro-franchises which focus on the manufacture of sanitary pads / sanitary towels.
The 28th of May is recognised as World Menstrual Hygiene Day and aims to raise awareness of the plight of hundreds of thousands of young women who ended up missing many days of schooling each year due to no access to sanitary products.
We are urging businesses to support this campaign from as little as R240 to support a young woman over 2022 (and beyond) with access to sanitary products. Not only does your investment support young women with access to sanitary pads, it also ensures the sustainability of the Blossom Care micro-franchises, stimulating employment and building entrepreneurs in South Africa.
If you would like to support this initiative, you can reach out to marc@decusatio.co.za or contact us via the office. Corporates looking for Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) or Socio-Economic Development (SED) on their scorecards can also engage us around this.
Thank you Carla for being an inspirational young voice supporting this campaign!
