About this campaign
Developed by our partners from Decusatio who specialise in Access to Market strategies, this campaign focuses on interviewing healthcare influencers and those passionate about building the workforce of the future.
The past 2 years have been incredibly challenging for organisations who have focused on survival as the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the global economy. The end result is that a number of South Africans are tired, stressed and very often not living optimal lifestyles.
The purpose behind this campaign was to encourage individuals and businesses to take personal goal-setting seriously and to equip them with practical tools from those who are excelling in their respective fields. By being able to learn from – and be motivated by – people like Kelsey, we will get the positivity flowing.

Why Workplace Wellness matters
According to the World Health Organisation, the average South African does not do a healthy level of exercise. This is putting them at risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, dementia, and some cancers – and there has been no improvement over the past 15 years
Medical insurer Discovery echoes this, saying that 50% of South Africans are not doing enough exercise and this is more than double the global average of 23%.
This issue is also filtering down to the youth of South Africa who are struggling to find role models to encourage them to live healthy lifestyles. A Lancet study shows that South Africans teens are amongst the laziest in the world when measured by physical activity done.
If we cannot set an example for the youth of tomorrow, we will be creating a situation where we will amplify unhealthy lifestyles which will then translate into poor workplace performance.
